Fileloom is a free, ad-free Android file viewer for opening and reading many kinds of content in one calm place. Browse local files and Google Drive, then view PDFs, EPUBs, Markdown, HTML, Office/HWP documents, text/code, images, archives/comics, audio, and video with format-aware viewers, favorites, bookmarks, and reading progress.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Fileloom because opening files on Android often feels more fragmented than it should. PDFs, EPUBs, ZIP/CBZ archives, Markdown, Office/HWP documents, images, subtitles, code files, and cloud files usually send you bouncing between different apps — and each app has its own reading history, bookmarks, and UI.
Fileloom is my attempt to make that experience calmer: one reading-focused Android app where you can browse, open, favorite, bookmark, and resume many kinds of files from one place.
It started as a simple document viewer, but the product evolved as I tested it against real messy folders: comics inside archives, long PDFs, EPUBs, Google Drive files, Markdown exports, media files, and documents in multiple languages. That pushed Fileloom toward practical details like reading position persistence, recent files, favorites, archive/webtoon viewing, Google Drive browsing, and a minimal interface that stays out of the way.
I’d love feedback from Android users, readers, students, developers, and anyone who deals with lots of files: what file workflows still feel painful, and what should Fileloom support next?
