FileBuoy helps accountants and bookkeepers request, collect, and track client documents with secure upload links, automatic reminders, and no messy email threads.
I built FileBuoy because chasing clients for missing documents often turns into messy email threads, repeated follow-ups, and unclear status tracking.
The goal is simple: send a secure upload link, let clients upload files without creating an account, track what is still missing, and use reminders to reduce manual follow-up.
I’m starting with accountants and bookkeepers because document collection is such a common bottleneck during cleanup, catch-up, and tax-season work. Would love feedback from anyone who regularly has to request files from clients.
