FictionMaker
Write fiction with AI, then hear it and talk to the cast
Write fiction with AI that learns your voice. Hear every chapter narrated, chat with your characters out loud, and publish to a community of readers. AI-assisted creative writing with social discovery and author monetization.
I kept hitting the same wall with AI writing tools: they'd help me draft,
and then the story just sat there as a document.
FictionMaker is the fix I wanted. You co-write with AI in a real editor —
four modes, from turn-by-turn to full auto — but the story doesn't stop at
text. Any chapter can be narrated, including full-cast audio where every
character gets their own voice. And the characters you write become
chatbots you can actually talk to, with a canon system so they don't
contradict what's already on the page.
The surprise was how people use it: most of what gets written here is
never published. That turned out to be fine, and it changed how we think
about the product — it's somewhere to write the thing you want to read,
and publishing is optional.
It's 18+ and age-gated. AI-generated audio and images carry
machine-readable AI markings.
Happy to answer anything — I'm most curious what people make of the
character-chat side, since that's the part that surprised us most.
