FBAbase
Know the real profit before you buy Amazon FBA inventory
Free, privacy-first calculators for Amazon US sellers. Model true profit, fees, ROI, FBA vs. FBM, launch cash, breakeven ads, and slow inventory - with no signup, Amazon connection, upload, or paywall. Your numbers stay in your browser.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built FBAbase because a product can look profitable in a simple Amazon FBA calculator and still turn out to be a bad business decision.
Many calculators stop at Amazon’s referral and fulfillment fees. But sellers also have to think about freight, prep, advertising, returns, seasonal and aged-inventory storage, cost of capital, and whether there will be enough cash to place the next order.
FBAbase brings those decisions into one free toolkit. You can use it to:
- Calculate complete per-unit profit, margin, ROI, and breakeven ad spend
- Compare FBA and FBM by both per-unit and estimated monthly profit
- Check 2026 Amazon US fees by category, size tier, weight, season, and price
- Estimate the cash needed to launch and fund a second order
- Understand whether slow-moving inventory is worth holding, discounting, or liquidating
There’s no signup, Amazon OAuth connection, spreadsheet upload, or paywall. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser, and saved scenarios stay in local browser storage.
FBAbase is designed as a decision tool—not accounting software or a replacement for Seller Central settlement reconciliation. I’ve tried to make every assumption, formula, fee source, and limitation visible.
I’d especially love feedback on one question:
Which cost or decision do existing FBA calculators still make hardest to understand?
If you try FBAbase, please also tell me where an assumption feels unclear or where the results don’t match how Amazon sellers think about a product.
Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted FBAbase?
FBAbase was hunted by Suke Jusu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post.
