Fast Reply has technically been around since 2023. But this is the version I wish I’d launched back then.
It started with a simple annoyance: I kept answering the same questions, sending the same updates, and retyping the same messages over and over.
iOS Text Replacement helped a little, but it’s pretty limited. It can expand abbreviations, but there are no folders, no reusable placeholders, and no easy way to adapt a saved message for different people.
So I built Fast Reply: an iPhone keyboard for the messages you send all the time.
You can browse your saved replies and tap one to insert it, or type a shortcut like “omw” and have it expand into the full message right where your cursor is. Either way, you never have to leave the app you’re already in.
Fast Reply 2.0 is a pretty big rebuild. It now includes:
• A full typing keyboard with shortcut expansion • Fill-in-the-blank placeholders for names, dates, prices, etc. • AI Assist to make a reply warmer, shorter, clearer, or more professional • On-device AI where supported • iCloud sync • Support for five languages
