Top comment

I built Fair Toolbox out of pure frustration. Every time I needed something simple — resize an image, merge a couple of PDFs, convert an audio file — I'd google it, land on some page buried in ads and popups, hit a "sign up to continue" wall, and then have to upload my file to their server just to get it back thirty seconds later. It was slow, it was invasive, and it made me uneasy about where my files were actually going. So I made the opposite of that: around 100 everyday tools, each on its own clean page, with no account, no email, no popups, and no upload step. Everything runs right in your browser, so your files never leave your device — which also means there's no upload wait, so it's fast. It's free, and I keep adding tools. That's the whole thing: the boring, useful stuff you need now and then, without making you pay for it with your time, your inbox, or your data.
