FaceSage
Upload a photo, get an honest face reading of who they are.
Upload a photo of someone and get a real read on their character: how they handle conflict, what they need from a partner, where they'd clash with you. Most face reading apps write a horoscope. FaceSage measures first. We map 478 points on the face, compare them against 681 real photos, and only say something where the face stands out. Average features get nothing said about them. We cross-check six face-reading traditions and 572 sourced claims. Your first reading is free.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built FaceSage because every face reading app I tried was a horoscope with a camera. You upload a photo and get back "you have a creative soul and sometimes doubt yourself" — a sentence that fits everyone, which means it says nothing.
So I built the opposite. FaceSage maps 478 points on a face, compares every proportion against 681 real photos, and stays quiet when a feature is average. If your jaw sits in the middle of the range, you get no jaw claim. About half the possible claims never fire on a given face, and that's the point.
The readings come from six traditions that developed separately: Chinese face reading, Greek physiognomy, French morphopsychology, Indian samudrika and two more. I pulled 572 individual claims out of the source books and graded each one by how many independent traditions back it. When they agree, you get a confident read. When they contradict each other, you get both readings and a way to tell which one you're looking at, instead of a mushy average.
Every claim also has to cash out in something you could watch for. Not "they're loyal" but the specific thing they'd do that would show it.
You get one full reading free. There's also compatibility between two people, a friendship read, and you can ask follow-up questions about anyone you've read.
It's built for fun, not for hiring people. I'd love to hear what it gets right and wrong on faces you know well. That's the only real test.
