I didn’t build Fable Buddy because I wanted to build another AI app.
I built it because I have three daughters… and I ran out of bedtime stories.
Every night, they would ask for something different:
- “A story with dragons”
- “A story where I’m the princess”
- “A funny story with magic”
And honestly… some nights I was just too tired to be creative.
So I started experimenting with AI to generate stories for them.
At first, it was just simple text.
Then I added chapters.
Then images.
Then personalization with their names, age, and interests.
And something interesting happened…
They didn’t just listen to the stories — they got excited to be part of them.
That’s when Fable Buddy stopped being a small side project and started feeling like something worth sharing.
Today, it generates 5-chapter illustrated stories that are personalized for each child.
It’s still early, still evolving, but I’d love to hear what you think.
