Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Event Capsule after noticing a simple problem that happens at almost every event: everyone takes photos, but afterward the host still ends up chasing people to send them.
Shared folders solve part of that problem, but I wanted the experience to feel like part of the event itself.
With Event Capsule, a host creates an event and shares a QR code or link. Guests can upload directly from their browser — no app download and no guest account required.
What makes it different is the reveal.
Hosts choose when uploads open and close, can review the photos, and keep the shared gallery sealed until a selected reveal time. When the gallery opens, everyone gets to experience the memories together instead of seeing everything instantly.
We’ve also built RSVP and invitation tools, moderation, a slideshow, private event storage, and automatic photo retention into the same event flow.
Event Capsule started as a simple idea — stop chasing guests for photos — and has gradually become a full before, during and after-event experience.
