EquityTake

Mastermind and group forming site

Equitytake.com isn’t Meetup for hobbies — it’s where businesses begin. Anyone can start a group around a business idea or project, or join one already in motion. Members aren’t just attendees; because they’re actively discussing, shaping, and developing potential businesses, they’re founders from day one — long before any paperwork or incorporation. Equity can be claimed but no real funds exchanged at this stage

Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I’m excited to share EquityTake with you today. Here’s the idea behind it: most great businesses don’t start with paperwork — they start with a conversation. A few people who believe in the same idea, talking it through, shaping it, pressure-testing it. The problem is, that stage has never really had a home. You’re either posting in a hobby-focused space like Meetup, or you’re already incorporated and dealing with lawyers and cap tables. EquityTake is built for everything in between. Anyone can start a group around a business idea or project — or join one that’s already forming. The people in that group aren’t just “interested users.” They’re discussing, shaping, and developing something real together, which makes them founders from day one, long before any incorporation happens. We built this because we believe projects are far easier to realize in groups than alone. A solo founder has to be the visionary, the operator, and the motivator all at once. A group can split that weight — bring different skills, catch each other’s blind spots, and keep momentum going when one person alone might stall out. Would love to hear what you think, especially: • What would make you join (or start) a group here? • What’s stopped you from acting on a business idea in the past? So site is just made so please advise if there is errors or something that needs to be changed Thanks for checking us out! 🙏

Who hunted EquityTake?

EquityTake was hunted by Roland Lanka. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
