I built Epistle because I was tired of devotional apps that felt like content consumption or a daily verse you swipe away. A reading plan you fall behind on. Something was missing: the sense that scripture was speaking to you, not at you.
Epistle is built around one idea: what if a biblical witness (Paul, John, David) appeared to you every morning and spoke directly into your day? Under 30 seconds. Cinematic. Unrepeatable. When it's done, it's gone. You can't replay it. Like every real encounter, it asks you to show up.
The scripture they pointed to stays with you. Everything else passes.
I built this solo and worked hard on a pipeline combining different tools to generate these characters. This is the launch and I promise to improve the quality over time. It's available now on iOS, completely free to download.
