Enable Copy and Right Click
Enable copying and right click on restricted webpages
Enable Copy and Right Click is a lightweight, open-source extension that restores normal copy, text selection, and right-click behavior on webpages that restrict these actions. Click the extension icon in the toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut to enable copying and right click on the current tab. You can also add trusted websites to the Automatic Sites list. The extension will then enable copy and right click automatically whenever you visit those sites.
You find the paragraph you need, try to select it, and nothing happens. You right-click, and no menu appears. Some websites switch off copying, text selection and the right-click menu, which makes quoting a source or saving a recipe needlessly hard. Enable Copy and Right Click turns them back on.
Click the toolbar button, or press Alt+C (Command+Shift+Y on a Mac), and copy, paste, text selection and right click work again on that tab. An ON badge tells you it worked. Sites you visit often can go on an Automatic Sites list, so they are fixed as soon as they load.
I kept landing on pages that wouldn't let me copy a single line, even when all I wanted was to quote it. I didn't want a tool that needs access to every site I visit just to fix that, so I built one that does nothing until you ask.
That idea shaped every permission the extension asks for. It touches a tab only after you click. If you want a site fixed automatically, it asks for access to that one site, and when you remove the site, the access goes with it. There are no analytics, no network requests and no remote code. Copying a sentence shouldn't cost anyone their privacy.
