On any job portal, I always had to manually skim through roles, figuring out which ones I was actually eligible to apply to, with good chances of being considered, like eligibility was never treated as a first-class feature. I also realized that if employers themselves were posting on these job boards, they probably forgot about the post unless the job board was big enough, and if it was, too many people had already applied to it within the first couple hours, leaving me with no fair chance of consideration. Finally, I realised there was no easy way to create a job alert for literally any company I wanted, filtered by domains and locations and experience levels of my choice, with instant alerts as soon as a role went online on their careers portal (individual websites had these for each company, but no one-click solution). Finally, I realised Claude or ChatGPT only show me upto 10 to 20 jobs in a prompt, and consume more tokens than needed. We built Employed to fix all of these problems.

Who hunted Employed?
Employed was hunted by Guaq AI. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
