Hello, my name is Illia, and I want to share the app I've been working on recently.
EliTrainer is a desktop application for fretboard memorization and ear training that can listen to your guitar through a microphone or an audio interface.
I’m a guitarist myself. While trying to improvise and create my own solos, I realized that finding the right notes or scale degrees could be a really complicated challenge. Especially when you consider that each scale can be applied to different root notes, the number of possible combinations is huge.
To overcome this difficulty, I decided to build an app that would ask me to play notes, listen to me playing, and provide instant feedback.
Training this way is convenient and very effective. Right now, the app is a simple POC with only basic features, and it is available only for Windows. But I have a lot of ideas that I plan to implement in the near future.
The app is free, but you can donate to support the development of new features. You can also suggest things you would like to see in future releases.
Thanks in advance to everyone who tries EliTrainer. I’m looking forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions.
