I'll be completely honest: El Puente is me asking strangers for $0.99/month. You get nothing back. I get everything.
I built this because I believe there's an untested question about human nature: can generosity exist at scale without obligation, without reward, without even knowing each other? At $0.99/month the cost is so small that the only reason not to do it is indifference, not economics.
Built it solo, with Replit, no funding, no team. The app is anonymous by design - no email, no name, just a double-click on the side of your iPhone and you're a node in the network.
I'm not here to sell you anything. I'm here to find out if the thesis is true. Every upvote and every download helps prove it.
