Eirene was born from a gap I noticed in postpartum care, especially in India, where postpartum wellbeing is often treated as something women are simply expected to “get through” rather than something that deserves open discussion and support. Many women may not even recognize that what they are experiencing is part of postpartum wellbeing. I wanted to build Eirene as a supportive, non-diagnostic space that helps women check in with themselves amidst the demands of everyday motherhood. Through simple check-ins, journaling, and compassionate AI conversations, Eirene encourages women to pause even for a few seconds and ask themselves, “How am I doing?” It isn't about replacing professional care; it's about making sure the woman herself isn't forgotten.
