Iβm the developer behind Egle. Like many of you, Iβve spent years collecting music, ripping CDs, and loading tracks in my digital audio players. But as my library grew into thousands of tracks, it became an absolute nightmare to manage.
Broken ID3 tags, featured artists splitting a single artist into ten different entries, and messy genres (one time is Hip-Hop, Hip Hop, or HipHop/Rap!?).
Most players and DAPs have strict database indexing, and a messy library completely ruins the experience.
I got tired of fixing files one by one, so I built Egle originally just for myself, but now Iβm releasing it to everyone.
