Editoria
AI editing and publishing toolkit for writers
Editoria is an AI editorial workspace for writers, authors and storytellers. It helps you improve manuscripts, organise documents, build a book bible, plan your publishing roadmap and prepare submission materials such as blurbs, synopses and query letters. Instead of only generating text, Editoria focuses on helping writers polish, structure and prepare their work for the next stage.
I’m Gavin, founder of Function Labs, and I built Editoria to help writers move from a rough draft to something more polished, organised and submission-ready.
A lot of AI writing tools focus mainly on generating text. With Editoria, I wanted to build more of an editorial workspace: somewhere writers can manage documents, improve chapters, track story details, build a book bible, plan the publishing journey and prepare materials like blurbs, synopses and query letters.
The goal is not to replace the writer’s voice. It is to give writers a structured companion that helps them spot weaknesses, organise their ideas and get closer to a manuscript they feel confident sharing.
I’d really appreciate feedback from writers, authors, editors and anyone building creative tools.

Who hunted Editoria?
Editoria was hunted by Function Labs. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
