Earlier this year, I built editGPT as a simple Chrome extension that works alongside the ChatGPT interface. It went viral with the ChatGPT and writing community, people loved it!
With the changes to OpenAI's ChatGPT models, I've seen a decrease in quality when editing on ChatGPT. So I built a standalone editor that is powered by the API, leading to better results. The new interface also allows for faster and more convenient editing. I've added some of the best prompts for editing and proofreading, but you can very easily add your own.
As someone who does a lot of editing, it's saved me a lot of time and improved my workflow. I appreciate the support and I'm excited to hear your thoughts as we continue to improve the product.
