I'm the maker of Echoon.
This started with meetings I couldn't keep up with. English isn't my first
language, and on a call full of jargon I was doing three jobs at once:
understanding, taking notes, and working out what to say next. Transcription
tools handed me a wall of text afterwards — accurate, and useless in the moment.
So Echoon is built around the live part. While people are still talking:
• Every line lands transcribed, with speaker labels, in 29 languages.
• Domain terms come out right — pick the scene and industry (or drop in a
background doc) and "AKS" becomes "Azure Kubernetes Service", not "a KS".
• Each line is translated as it arrives.
• Key points collect themselves into a running digest.
• When someone asks you something, it spots the question — one tap drafts a
reply you can say out loud.
• One tap also lists the risks and loose ends nobody picked up on.
When you stop, the whole conversation is rewritten into a structured summary —
decisions, action items, open questions — in the language spoken and in yours.
