Echoon

It listens, backs you up, and pulls it together

Most transcription tools hand you a summary after the meeting. Echoon helps you during it. Lines are transcribed and translated as they land, key points collect themselves, and when someone asks you something it spots the question and drafts a reply you can say out loud. Jargon comes out right because you set the scene and industry first. Six modes: live, AI copilot, bilingual face-to-face, a bot for Zoom/Meet/Teams, recording, file upload. Browser only, no subscription, from $0.30/hr.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the maker of Echoon. This started with meetings I couldn't keep up with. English isn't my first language, and on a call full of jargon I was doing three jobs at once: understanding, taking notes, and working out what to say next. Transcription tools handed me a wall of text afterwards — accurate, and useless in the moment. So Echoon is built around the live part. While people are still talking: • Every line lands transcribed, with speaker labels, in 29 languages. • Domain terms come out right — pick the scene and industry (or drop in a background doc) and "AKS" becomes "Azure Kubernetes Service", not "a KS". • Each line is translated as it arrives. • Key points collect themselves into a running digest. • When someone asks you something, it spots the question — one tap drafts a reply you can say out loud. • One tap also lists the risks and loose ends nobody picked up on. When you stop, the whole conversation is rewritten into a structured summary — decisions, action items, open questions — in the language spoken and in yours. Six ways in: live transcription, the AI copilot mode, bilingual conversation (two people, two languages, one screen — I use this at the doctor abroad), a bot that joins your Zoom/Meet/Teams call, browser recording, and file upload. Everything runs in the browser. Nothing to install. The honest parts: it's still in beta, and the AI modes are where the rough edges live. Free to try — 180 minutes when you sign in, then 60 more every week, no card. Paid is credits from $0.30/hour, no subscription. We don't train on your content, and your audio is never sent to language-model providers. Three things I'd genuinely like your take on: 1. Is a live digest useful to you mid-meeting, or do you only care about the final summary? 2. The reply drafts — helpful, or too strange to use in front of real people? 3. Which language pair should I stress-test next? I'll be here all day. Ask me anything, and tell me what breaks — every bug report gets a reply.
