EasyMap Charts
Create custom administrative data maps in minutes
EasyMap Charts turns spreadsheet data into polished administrative maps in seconds. Enter values manually, paste a table, or upload CSV, TXT, XLSX, or XLS files. Create choropleth and origin-to-destination flow maps using worldwide country and first-level administrative boundaries, plus detailed maps for China. Customize colors, classes, labels, legends, projections, and exports. No account or GIS experience required, and your data stays in your browser.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Humphrey, the maker of EasyMap Charts.
I built EasyMap Charts because creating a simple administrative data map often takes far more work than the final result should require.
Many students, teachers, analysts, consultants, and presentation makers simply need to paste a two-column table, match the region names, adjust the visual style, and export a clean map. Traditional GIS software is powerful, but it can be excessive for this kind of task.
EasyMap Charts keeps the entire workflow on one browser page. You can enter values manually, paste spreadsheet data, or upload CSV, TXT, XLSX, and XLS files. The app matches place names against built-in worldwide country and first-level administrative boundaries, with more detailed administrative coverage for China.
You can create choropleth maps or origin-to-destination flow maps, review and correct data matches, and customize classification methods, colors, labels, legends, projections, layouts, and export settings.
There is no account or sign-up. Your data is processed locally in the browser and is not uploaded to a server.
The project started as a fast administrative map maker for China. As I continued building it, the focus expanded from simply drawing a map to removing every small point of friction between spreadsheet data and a finished visual.
I would especially value your feedback on three things:
1. Does the data-matching workflow feel clear?
2. Which customization controls matter most to you?
3. Which country or administrative level should be added next?
Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be here throughout the launch to answer questions and learn from your feedback.
