EarnCat
Your AdSense & AdMob revenue, right in your Mac menu bar
EarnCat shows today's estimated AdSense and AdMob revenue in your Mac's menu bar, so you never open another dashboard to check one number. A tiny calico cat sits next to it and reacts to your day: happy when you beat yesterday, curious while it loads, sleepy when offline. Click it for yesterday and this month. No server, no account, no tracking: read-only access, straight from Google to your Mac. Free for one network; Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Jonghwi, an indie developer at STUDIO HWI in South Korea. If you run ads on your apps or sites, you probably know this loop: open a browser → AdSense → wait for the dashboard → read one number → close the tab. An hour later, again. Then the same for AdMob.
So I built EarnCat. It puts that one number where I'm already looking all day — the menu bar.
🐱 What it does
• Today's estimated revenue in the menu bar ($127.42, or $1.2K on a good day)
• Click the cat for yesterday and this month
• AdSense and AdMob with your Google account
• Refreshes quietly in the background, pauses offline and catches up when you're back
😺 Why a cat?
A bare number felt cold. The cat is happy when you beat yesterday, curious while it loads and sleepy when Google can't be reached. Checking revenue became something I actually look forward to.
🔒 It's your money data, so
• No EarnCat server, no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking
• Read-only Google access; sign-in tokens live in your Keychain
• Your numbers go from Google to your Mac and nowhere else
💸 Pricing
Free: one network (AdSense or AdMob), hourly refresh.
Pro, a one-time $14.99: both networks, multiple Google accounts, 15/30-minute refresh, change vs. yesterday, revenue notifications and monthly stats. No subscription.
Built natively with SwiftUI for macOS 14 Sonoma and later.
I'd love your feedback: what would you want to see next to that number? Last month? A per-app breakdown? Daily goals?
Thanks for stopping by — the cat says hi 🐾
