Duoloft

A private 3D room for long-distance couples

Duoloft gives two people a private 3D room they can make their own. Decorate together, create avatars, leave notes and gifts, answer daily prompts, share snaps and memories, play games, watch YouTube, or start a call from the room. I built it for my long-distance relationship because I wanted something that felt like a place we shared, not another chat or couples questionnaire. The core app is free on iOS, Android, and web, with an optional one-time room unlock shared by both partners.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m Aidan, the developer behind Duoloft. I started building it for me and my long-distance girlfriend. Calls were important, but they often felt like opening the same chat window again. I wanted us to have somewhere that felt like ours, so I made a small 3D room we could decorate and slowly fill with shared things. Since the first version, Duoloft has grown to more than 2,200 registered users and launched on iOS and Android. The hardest part wasn’t adding more furniture or activities. It was making a two-person product work reliably: invitations, pairing, notifications, and keeping the room in sync. I’d especially love to know how you’d describe Duoloft after seeing it for the first time: a couples app, a cozy game, or some combination of both? Thanks for checking it out. I’ll be around to answer questions.
