Dryplate

Free image tools that never upload your files

Covert, compress, resize and crop images in your browser. HEIC to JPG included. Everything runs on your device: no upload, no ads, no limits, no account. Batch with zip download. Works on iPhone Safari. SDK and MCP server for developers next week.

Top comment

Hi PH. I built Dryplate after one too many "HEIC to JPG" sites wanted my photos on their servers.

Every tool runs in your browser with WASM codecs (mozjpeg, libwebp, libavif, libheif). Your files never leave your device. Open DevTools -> Network while converting and you'll see no requests.

Because it costs me nothing to run, the tools stay free and unlimited.

Next week: the same tools as an npm SDK and an MCP server for AI agents. Follow github.com/dryplate to catch it.

Who hunted Dryplate?

Dryplate was hunted by Tekeshwar Singh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
