Dreams of Yesterday

Your family's memories, brought to life as films.

Every family has stories that exist only in the minds of the people who lived them. When those people are gone, the stories go with them. Dreams of Yesterday records family members telling their stories and reconstructs them as short films. Their voice. Their memory. Made visible while they're still here. For all time. Demo is real. Waitlist open.

Inspiration: My dad tells stories nobody's ever written down. I wanted to make them real, to see them one again. Problem trying to solve: Family stories live only as words and imagination. Dreams of Yesterday makes them visible - what your father actually pictured when he tells that story, rendered as a real film. There's something intoxicating about seeing a memory brought to life while the person who lived it is still there to watch it with you. Additionally, this preserves a fleeting memory, for all time. Difficulty - The hardest part was the video generation pipeline - the jump from static images to actual film is a 10x harder problem than most "AI memory" tools attempt. Took weeks of learning Kling, 11 Labs, and figuring out what the tools can actually do at this level. This is an MVP with enormous room to grow - much of the work will be automated as the technology improves.
