Dream

A visual writing app—from quick notes to entire novels

A writing and note-taking app where a simple idea can grow into a larger project without switching tools. You can link and nest notes, organize text into sections, and explore connections on a visual map. The screenshots show a book project, with the manuscript, scene outlines, and notes about characters and places in one workspace—but you can also just use it to jot down ideas. Versions, comments, filtering, images, simple tables, calendar, and AI chat. It works on both desktop and mobile.

Hi everyone, I’m Seb, the creator of Dream.

I wanted a writing app where you don’t have to decide how big an idea will become before you start. Some thoughts stay as a few lines. Others grow into connected notes, a larger project, or an entire book.

Dream is my attempt to bring those stages together: a simple writing space, with linked and nested notes, text sections, and a visual map when you need more structure.

Who hunted Dream?

Dream was hunted by Sebastian Bjelkemyr. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
