DownSiteNow
See what’s down before everyone else does.
DownSiteNow does more than tell you whether a website is up or down. It also shows recent check activity, outage signals, sites going down right now, and shareable live status pages — all without requiring an account. It’s designed to give everyday users a clearer picture of what’s happening when a site starts having problems.
I built DownSiteNow because I wanted a faster, clearer way to answer a very common question: “Is this website down, or is it just me?” Most tools stop at a basic up/down result. I wanted to add more context — recent activity, outage signals, live checks, and shareable status pages — while keeping the experience simple and free. I’d really appreciate feedback on what would make it more useful.

Who hunted DownSiteNow?
DownSiteNow was hunted by Reese Jordan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
