I hate how social media works. And trying to find projects that are worth my time on them. Especially for indie projects, where marketing budgets are zero to non-existent. So I decided to build DOOMSCRLL.
It is a platform where creators can create 24-hour showcases for their projects on a selected day (named DOOMLIT). And users can explore daily projects on a feed without an algorithm or ads. Each day there can be up to 40 projects, and they are seperated into 9 categories, and up to 5 tags that depend on the category of the project.
