Hi Product Hunt, I'm James, the maker of Domain of Influence.
It's a marketplace for buying and selling domain names. [One or two sentences on why you built it: the problem you hit buying or selling domains.]
How it works:
- Listing is free and there's no commission. You keep the whole sale price, and buyers and sellers close the deal themselves, through any escrow service.
- Every seller is verified. You prove you own a domain by adding one TXT record to its DNS, and we re-check it daily. The site finds where your DNS is hosted and shows the exact steps for that provider.
- Search the way domain people do. Filter by TLD, price, length, word type and patterns like LLL or CVCV, or build a regex with the pattern builder.
- Buyers contact the seller directly. The inquiry goes to the seller's inbox and replies go straight back to the buyer.
The site is new, so the grid is still filling up. Featured spots are free during launch.
