Top comment

Hi 👋 Maker here. Doczio came out of frustration: every PDF app on Android wanted to be the whole world, and every Office viewer was clunky. Doczio is the merged version I wanted to use — one app for PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, EPUB, plus scan + sign + OCR. Things that took longest to get right: • Rendering: native renderer for PDFs (MuPDF), separate engines for Office • OCR pack: 125+ languages, all offline; ~140MB extra download • Layout: most readers force you into 'document mode', I wanted reading-mode for novels Feedback I'd love: • Format coverage — which obscure file do you wish opened on Android? • Reading-mode preferences (font, line-height, dark mode) • OCR accuracy on your language
