It's happened hundreds of times since — there's literally a public database tracking these cases now, and the record sanction just hit $110K. One deliberate design decision: everything runs on our own self-hosted model. Your documents never touch OpenAI, Google, or any third-party AI — which matters when the documents are privileged briefs or unpublished research. For firms that need more, it deploys in your cloud or fully air-gapped.
Honest limitations we're working on: books and statutes inside legal docs get weaker verification than case citations, and scanned PDFs take longer (vision transcription).
