today, Lucas and I are ecstatic to share the future of signing with you. Documenso is the first fully open source signing solution that you can self-host and also freely build upon. Together with our community, we've built Documenso 0.9 and are ready to share it with you.
✅ We created Documenso to bring a new culture of openness and innovation to the digital signature space. Though every business in the world signs documents, there is no open platform that allows you to both self-host and customize to your exact business needs. Tot that, we say: no more!
✅ Self-hostable

Documenso is fully open source and licensed under AGPL v3! This means you can remove, modify, or build on top of Documenso freely to meet your exact requirements. Plus, if you build something on your own, you can always contribute to Documenso's codebase to improve the product for everyone else! This way, we build and grow together.

Digital signatures should be simple, good-looking, and easy to use. But self-hosting isn't for everyone, and we understand that. Starting today, you can use the hosted version of Documenso out-of-the-box at documenso.com. Same source, same values.
