DocScanner: PDF Scan
Private scans, saved on device
A minimalistic, local-first iOS app for capturing paper documents, converting them into PDFs, and managing them with ease. No accounts, no cloud, just privacy.
Top comment
I built DocScanner because I wanted a scanner that was simple, fast, and private. No account, no unnecessary cloud uploads, and no bloated interface. Your documents stay on your device. The first version was intentionally simple. With V2, I focused on making it more useful without turning it into a complicated app. Folders are now available for everyone, the app has been redesigned, performance has been improved, and Pro adds features like Secure Folders with biometrics and password-protected PDFs. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. DocScanner is also open source. I’d love to hear what you think and what you’d like to see next.
