I originally built Dockly because I was losing my mind Alt-Tabbing across 5 different Chrome profiles. I wanted a raw, tactical side-panel that gave me absolute control over my workspace.
But as I built it, I realized AI developers are facing the exact same problem: AI agents (like Anthropic's Computer Use) rely on taking messy, massive screenshots of the desktop to try and find the right window. It costs a fortune in API fees and fails 25% of the time.
So, I turned Dockly into a Local API Gateway.
Now, instead of your AI agent taking a screenshot, it can just query Dockly's local port to get a perfect JSON map of every open window and profile, and use our Win32 overrides to instantly switch to them.
