I've been using social apps for years, and one thing always bugged me: there's no real way to call out a post that's wrong. Comments exist, sure, but they're easy to ignore, and they get buried. Someone posts nonsense, a few people push back in the replies, and the post just sits there looking unchallenged.
So I built Dissent. It's a normal feed - you post, you follow people, you scroll. The difference is that any post can be challenged, and the challenge sticks to the post instead of disappearing into the replies. If you post something, you're expected to stand behind it.
