DirectorMode.AI
AI video audits with timestamped fixes
DirectorMode is an AI creative director for video editors, creators, and agencies. Upload a draft with its brief or brand book. Specialized agents review retention, pacing, audio, CTAs, platform fit, brand compliance, and visual quality—then return a prioritized list of micro-fixes mapped to exact timestamps. Apply them in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or any NLE. DirectorMode never rewrites your work: it acts as a second pair of eyes while you keep the final creative call.
Hi Product Hunt! I run KPI Creatives, a video agency that works with different freelance editors.
Sometimes several editors work on projects for the same client. The biggest challenge for us has always been consistency. We were spending too much time on calls, checking whether every cut followed the brief, and sending the same kinds of revisions over and over again.
We originally built DirectorMode for our own workflow. It breaks a video into segments, reviews it against the client’s brief, and points out specific issues at exact timestamps. This gives editors clearer feedback before their work reaches the client.
DirectorMode also creates a shareable scorecard. Instead of relying only on subjective feedback, clients can see what works in the video, what could be improved, and why. This has helped us get better work from freelancers, reduce review cycles, and get client approval faster.
We believe it could be useful for freelancers, content creators, and agencies that produce videos for clients.
Right now, we’re trying to understand whether DirectorMode should become a standalone product or remain an internal tool at KPI Creatives.
If you work with freelance editors or deliver video projects to clients, I’d love to hear how you currently handle consistency and quality control. What would make a tool like this useful in your workflow?
