Dinomy is where parents make what their 2 to 6 year old watches. Start with a character: turn a drawing, a photo of a favourite toy or a few words into a friend your child helped invent. Then type what a song or story should be about and the app makes it, starring that character, with your child's name in it. There are short lesson courses too, on any skill, and they answer back. You see everything first. No ads, no feed, no autoplay. It ends at All Done.

I started building Dinomy when my sister was worried about how many nursery rhymes and kids' songs her son was watching on YouTube. I thought: why not let her decide what he watches, and make it herself? It began as a small web app where she could ask for a song that teaches a good value and is still fun to listen to. My nephew really liked it, so I turned it into a full app. It is for parents of 2 to 6 year olds. You type what it is about and the app makes it: - First day of school? Make a song about being brave at school. - Bedtime? Make a story starring your child, by name. - Working on a skill? Create a course. You review everything before your child sees it, and the lessons answer back: they ask your child to tap, say, clap and trace. There are no ads, no feed and no autoplay, and it ends at All Done. Standard is $19.99 a month or $179.99 a year, Max $39.99 or $399.99, with a 7-day free trial on Standard. Built for iPhone; it also runs on iPad as an iPhone app. I am a solo founder and I would love your feedback, especially from parents of small children.
