Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Sergei, creator of Dinamo Notebook. The story behind this project is a bit unusual. For a long time, I worked with my hometown football (or soccer, depends on where you are from) club, Dinamo 1945 Pančevo, as a one-man marketing department. I was responsible for social media, match coverage, content creation, fan engagement, and promoting local players. Like many lower-league clubs, most of our matches ended up on YouTube. We constantly needed to review games, analyze moments, prepare highlights, study players, and share clips internally with coaches and staff. The problem was that YouTube is great for watching football, but terrible for working with football. We needed a way to take structured notes, mark important moments, create tactical diagrams, build highlight reels, and keep everything organized. Existing analysis platforms were either too expensive, too complex, or simply overkill for what we needed. So I decided to build our own tool. What started as an internal project for Dinamo eventually became Dinamo Notebook — a free and open-source football analysis platform that runs directly in your browser. One thing was important from the beginning: your data should stay yours. Everything runs locally on your machine. No cloud lock-in, no subscriptions, and no need to upload match footage to someone else's servers. When you're ready, you can export professional PDF or HTML reports, GIFs, highlight reels, and complete project backups. Today I'm excited to share it with the wider football community. And honestly, I can't think of a better time to launch it than during the World Cup. Right now, millions of people are watching football. But grassroots coaches, analysts, students, and local clubs still don't have access to the tools available to professional organizations. I hope Dinamo Notebook can help change that, even in a small way. I'd love to hear your feedback, ideas, and feature requests. Thanks for checking it out! ⚽ Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn — I'm more than opened for collaborations
