Hey Product Hunt! Edu here, solo dev behind Dimmly and Trovelo (the private trip planner you might have seen here before).
I built Dimmly because I kept bouncing between apps that were either too minimal to be useful or too complex to actually stick with. I wanted something in between — gesture-first, no account, no subscription, and list types that actually match how people think.
Here's what makes it different from every other task app out there:
5 list types that cover your whole day:
- List — your classic task list, nothing fancy, just works
- Ranked — numbered list so you can prioritize what actually matters today
- Sum — you add an amount to each item and it shows a running total at the bottom. Perfect for tracking trip expenses, splitting costs, or budgeting on the go
- Score — a live scoreboard for game night. Each player racks up points and the list auto sorts by who's winning. My friends use this every week
- Grocery — shopping mode where you set how many of each item you need and swipe to cross them off as you go
Habits built into every task:
