Dextrous
Faster prototyping tool for tabletop game designers
Fastest and most flexible prototyping design tool for game designers with support for Google Sheets, CMYK PDF export, and exports for Tabletop Simulator, Dustin's Designer Den, Screentop.gg, Tabletopia and more. We also have a load of tutorials and a thriving Discord of designers making cool games.
We were inspired to make dextrous after a painful experience with data merge in Adobe's inDesign and thought, 'there has to be a better way'.
The problem we saw was that there was no easy-to-use tool that focussed on speed of iteration, but also flexibility of output (print-and-play pdf, digital platforms, or production-ready pdfs). Speed and flexibility is our mantra and what we've become known for in the tabletop game design space.
It's been a huge journey but we're finding it super rewarding to be helping thousands of designers bring their game ideas to life. We have big plans for the future of the app and it's been a blast to build so far.
Onwards and upwards!

Who hunted Dextrous?
Dextrous was hunted by Gilbert Walker. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
