Dew

A period tracker that lives only on your iPhone.

She'd been hunting for a period tracker for weeks. One wanted her email. One pinged her three times a day. One showed her an ad for prenatal vitamins. One's privacy policy was sixteen scrolls long. By the seventh, she'd gone back to a paper notebook. So I built Dew. A quiet place for the days that are yours. Calendar, widgets, Live Activity, partner profiles — all on her iPhone. No account, no ads. No one — not even us — can see it. Made by a boy, for the girl he loves.

Hi, I'm Abhi. This is a small thing I made for someone I love. ──── She wanted two things, really. One — a simple place to track her period. Two — the quiet certainty that her data would stay hers. That no one, anywhere, would ever sell it, study it, or hand it to someone she didn't choose. That should have been an easy ask. It wasn't. ──── One quiet evening, she sat across from me at dinner and put her phone face-down on the table. "Can't there just be one that doesn't want anything from me?" She'd been hunting for a period tracker for weeks. The first one wanted her email. The second pinged her three times that day. The third showed her an ad for prenatal vitamins she'd never asked about. The fourth's privacy policy was sixteen scrolls long. By the seventh, she'd given up and gone back to a paper notebook. I sat with that for a while. Then I started sketching. ──── Dew is what I made. What's actually inside: • A calm Today screen — where you are in your cycle, in one quiet glance. • A month calendar with phase markers, mood notes, symptom logging. • Gentle reminders, widgets in three sizes, a Lock Screen widget, Live Activity, Apple Watch complication. • Insights and reflections — written right on your iPhone using Apple's on-device intelligence. Never our servers. • Multiple profiles on one phone — you and a partner, fully separate, both private. • Partner sharing through your own iCloud (Pro) — they see only what you choose. Revoke anytime. • PDF reports for your doctor (Pro). Family Sharing (Pro). Your own custom symptoms (Pro). • Apple Health one-way sync (off by default, on with one tap). ──── On the part that matters most — what we know about you: Your cycle lives only on your iPhone. Not on a server we run, because there isn't one. No account. No email. No login. No ads. No one — not even us — can see your cycle. The honest small print: we use TelemetryDeck (anonymous, privacy-first, no IP retention) to count things like how many people opened the app today. It tells us nothing about you — no name, no email, no cycle data, nothing you logged. The way the website puts it: "We may count, anonymously, how many people install the app — the way every iPhone app does. We will never know it was you." You can turn it off in Privacy settings; when it's off, it stops the same second. ──── On pricing, because I'd rather say it now: Right now, Dew is free. Every part of it. No trial cutoff, no paywall, nothing hidden. That's the honest truth today. But nothing is truly free forever, and I don't want to pretend otherwise. When prices land — and they will — both options will be small. A small one-time price to keep Dew yours forever. Pay once. Yours. A small monthly price for the warmer extras (partner sharing, reflections, doctor reports). It's how we get to keep building this for you. You'll see the prices inside the app weeks before anything turns on. Neither will hide anything. You're not the product here. You are the person we built this for. ──── If you have a hard question — about how it works, what happens if Dew goes away, why I'm doing this at all — ask. I'll answer the same day, honestly. With love, — a boy who loves her trydew.app

Who hunted Dew?

Dew was hunted by Noob Programmer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
