DevTrace is an AI-collaboration assessment platform. Give candidates a real coding task with AI available, and get an AI-generated insight into how they think, prompt, and iterate not just whether the tests pass.
I started DevTrace because I kept seeing the same problem: engineers use AI every day, but technical interviews still mostly pretend they don't.
So I built a way to let candidates use AI during assessments and look at what actually happens along the way, not just the final code.
It's still early and I'm figuring a lot of things out as I go. Would love to hear what you think, especially if you've hired engineers before.
