DevToolsCave
Free browser-based developer tools
DevToolsCave is a growing collection of 45+ fast, free developer tools for everyday tasks — from JSON, JWT and log viewer to converters, CSS tools, generators and visualizers. Built with a browser-first approach, many tools process your data locally for better privacy. No signup, no clutter, just useful tools that help developers inspect, transform, analyze and understand data faster.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built DevToolsCave because I kept running into those tiny developer tasks that take only 30 seconds — but somehow still require opening 3 different websites, finding the right tool, dealing with ads, or pasting data into a service you don't really want to trust.
So I started building my own collection.
It has grown to **45+ tools** already, covering everything from JSON/JWT/log utilities to converters, generators, analyzers and visual tools.
One principle I'm particularly trying to stick to: **if a tool can work entirely in the browser, it should.** That means less waiting, fewer dependencies, and better privacy for things like logs, tokens and data.
This is still very much a work in progress, and that's actually what I'm hoping to get from Product Hunt today:
**What developer task do you find yourself doing repeatedly that deserves a really good tool?**
Tell me below — the best ideas may become the next DevToolsCave tools. 🛠️
