DevTools

23 free browser-based dev tools. Nothing leaves your browser

SAM Toolkit is a collection of 23 free developer tools — JSON formatters, converters, encoders, and more — that run 100% in your browser. No file uploads, no server processing, no data collection. Everything happens client-side, so your code and data never leave your machine. Built with Blazor for a fast, snappy experience without the usual "paste your sensitive data into a random website" anxiety. Would love your feedback — what tools would you want added next?

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built SAM Toolkit because I was tired of using online dev tools that quietly send your data to a server — especially annoying when you're working with anything sensitive (API keys, internal JSON, etc). Every tool here runs entirely in your browser using Blazor/WebAssembly. I'm actively adding new tools based on what people ask for, so drop a comment if there's something you use daily that you wish existed as a quick browser tool. Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted DevTools?

DevTools was hunted by Sarfaraz Khan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
