Device-Test
Privacy-first device tests, right in your browser
Device-Test is a free browser-based toolkit for checking microphones, cameras, screen sharing, displays, keyboards, speakers, network status, and device sensors. Every test runs locally on your device, so camera, audio, location, sensor, and diagnostic data is never uploaded to our servers. It works without an account and gives focused, real-time feedback before meetings, recordings, classes, or device handoffs.
I built Device-Test to make the awkward moment before a meeting less stressful: instead of discovering a broken microphone, blocked camera, or screen-sharing issue after joining, you can test everything in one place first. Privacy shaped the approach from day one, so the diagnostics run locally in the browser and require no account. I’d love feedback on which device checks you use most and what should be added next.
