DevFeed is a refined mobile-first Hacker News client for developers, with focused reading, discussions, AI summaries, bookmarks, and a cleaner experience on mobile.
I've been a regular Hacker News reader for years, but I've never really enjoyed using it on my phone. The content is great, but the mobile experience always felt like something that could be much better.
I've also been learning React Native, so I decided to build something I'd actually use myself — DevFeed.
The idea was pretty simple: take the Hacker News experience I already love and make it feel more natural on mobile, while adding a few things that make reading and discovering content easier.
This started as a personal project, but I've been using it myself for a while now and I'm finally putting it out there.
