DevDock
Your local control plane for software projects
DevDock is a local-first desktop workspace for managing software projects, commands, processes, Docker, Git, databases, logs, and security checks. It detects each project’s stack and turns common development, test, build, and maintenance tasks into safe, repeatable workflows with live output and run history. Project data stays on your computer: no account, telemetry, cloud analysis, or source-code upload. Available on Windows, with a free plan and a one-time Pro upgrade.
Hi Product Hunt! I built DevDock because I was tired of reopening projects and reconstructing the same context every time: which folders belong together, which commands start the stack, what is running, and what needs attention. DevDock keeps that operational layer local and visible—detected technologies, saved workflows, Git and Docker state, databases, logs, project health, and read-only security checks. It doesn’t send source code to a service or require an account. I’d love to hear which part of your local development setup creates the most friction today.

Who hunted DevDock?
DevDock was hunted by Martin Grüner. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
