I build DevCodex as a home for focused, free developer utilities — the kind of thing you'd normally build as a one-off script and then forget. Today I'm launching the WordPress toolkit.
Everything inside runs in your browser, needs no account, no API key, and no install. It's aimed at the specific friction points I kept hitting on real WordPress projects.
What's in the kit:
1. WP_Query Builder — Generate WP_Query arguments arrays for complex WordPress post queries.
2. .htaccess Generator — Generate WordPress-optimized .htaccess rules for redirects, security, and performance.
3. Hook & Filter Finder — Search WordPress action hooks and filter hooks across WordPress core.
4. functions.php Generator — Generate common functions.php snippets for theme customization and WordPress configuration.
5. Cron Event Generator — Generate WordPress WP-Cron schedule and event registration code.
Would genuinely love feedback on what else you'd want to see. If there's a WordPress chore you find yourself Googling every month, I'd rather build a tool for it than let you keep doing that.
