DevCodex for Salesforce
Free Salesforce dev utilities — SOQL, Apex, ERD, schedule
Every Salesforce developer wastes hours a week re-reading the same docs: CRON syntax, Apex wrapper boilerplate, permission diffs, SOQL relationship patterns. This toolkit collects six focused web utilities that eliminate that tax — all free, no signup.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I build DevCodex as a home for focused, free developer utilities — the kind of thing you'd normally build as a one-off script and then forget. Today I'm launching the Salesforce toolkit.
Everything inside runs in your browser, needs no account, no API key, and no install. It's aimed at the specific friction points I kept hitting on real Salesforce projects.
What's in the kit:
1. SOQL Query Builder — Build SOQL queries visually, browse objects and fields from your live Salesforce org.
2. Apex Log Analyzer — Parse and visualize Apex debug logs — governor limits, execution timeline, SOQL and DML breakdown.
3. Schema ERD Viewer — Visualize Salesforce object relationships as interactive ERD diagrams. Export as PNG, SVG, or PDF.
4. JSON to Apex Generator — Paste JSON and generate Salesforce Apex wrapper classes with type detection, parse methods, and test classes.
5. Permission Comparator — Compare any two Profiles or Permission Sets side-by-side — object CRUD, field-level security, system permissions, and more.
6. CRON Expression Builder — Build Salesforce CRON expressions visually for System.schedule(). Preview next run times, copy Apex code.
Would genuinely love feedback on what else you'd want to see. If there's a Salesforce chore you find yourself Googling every month, I'd rather build a tool for it than let you keep doing that.
