delve

A curiosity-driven alternative to endless scrolling.

Short, deep reads on the things worth knowing — built around a YouTube video, an AI you can interrogate, and handpicked stories with a full cinematic treatment. Curious about something specific? Generate a custom topic about it. Want to achieve a goal? Pathway turns any goal you name into a structured route of topics that build on each other, generated just for you.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Simon, a solo developer from Austria, and this is delve. I built it because I kept noticing the same thing: every time I wanted to learn something interesting, the only options were either a full course (too much commitment for idle curiosity) or a feed that started well and ended an hour later with me not remembering what I'd even scrolled past. delve is my attempt at something in between. Every topic is a YouTube video, a piece of writing, and an AI you can actually ask follow-up questions to — with real context on what you're reading, not a generic chatbot. If nothing on the home screen catches your eye, you can describe any topic yourself and it gets written just for you. Two things I'm proudest of: — Cinematic: a handful of stories that get the full treatment — chapters, photography, the works. Not every topic needs this, but the ones that do deserve it. — Pathway: name a goal ("I want to understand black holes," "I want to learn Terraform") and it builds you an ordered route of topics to get there, generated on the spot. No streaks, no gamification, no tracking what you do to keep you hooked. Just genuinely curious content, and it ends when you're done reading. I built this alone, so I'd genuinely love to hear what you think — what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd want next. I'll be around all day answering questions.

Who hunted delve?

delve was hunted by Simon. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
